Our wonderful Special Education Staff at Dixie Montessori Academy
Joyelle Turley is a part of the paraprofessional staff in the Special Education department at Dixie Montessori Academy. She has been with DMA since its doors opened in the 2014-15 school year. Joyelle graduated from Southern Virginia University with a Bachelors of Art in Liberal Studies and is personally a mother of 3. She enjoys working one on one with the children at DMA and is looking forward to a great year.
Chiara Beozzo earned a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and worked as a preschool and kindergarten teacher in Italy for 9 years. She speaks Italian and a little bit of Spanish. In 2010 she moved with her family to Michigan, after spending few years raising her children she went back to work as a Teacher Assistant. In 2017 she obtained the Child Development Associate Credentials (CDA). She believes that every child is special, with unique combination of abilities and needs that affect learning and that all children deserve the opportunity to learn in a way that make the most of their strength and help them overcome their weakness.Caring for children and improving their life is something that she is more than willing to dedicate her life to
